Hosted SharePoint server is an add-in to Microsoft
Office that allows you to save to your server from anywhere as long as
you have an internet connection. It uses the same kind of internet
communication protocols as when making a purchase with your credit card
on the internet and so is securely stored and securely saved.
Your company has a bespoke site created to your needs
and customised with your own logos and text. Your staff are each
assigned usernames, passwords and roles to allow them different access
to your site.
Once your site is operational you can use it for group
discussions, file storage and calendaring. You can even create a
personal site for each user where they can keep their own workplace so
you can monitor and coordinate your team(s.)
